BuzzFeed, Inc. is an independent digital media company that provides news and entertainment globally.

Before the Try Guys started their own independent company, 2nd Try, LLC, they worked at BuzzFeed for four years (from 2014 to 2018), after which they launched their own channel on April 7th, 2018.

In a video by Jubilee, the Try Guys disclosed that they didn't miss working at BuzzFeed, but they definitely missed their co-workers. Safiya Nygaard, one of their former co-workers who left BuzzFeed the year before the Try Guys did, was even featured in their video, "The Try Guys Try Women's Pants for the First Time".

In a video from December 2019 titled, "How we Left BuzzFeed from Four Different Perspectives", the Try Guys said that it was hard when they first started their channel because when they first launched it, they weren't getting a good income, and they didn't have all the equipment they were used to.

Although the Try Guys said they didn't miss BuzzFeed, they acknowledged that BuzzFeed definitely helped them grow. In "The Try Wives React to Iconic Try Guys VIdeos", Becky explains how BuzzFeed aged Keith physically. However, the Try Guys grew more than just physically. WIthout BuzzFeed, The Try Guys would have never gotten this successful. Although the possibility of them being successful without BuzzFeed is possible, it is much less likely as they would be featured in more videos, have all the equipment they would need, and most importantly, meet each other. Without BuzzFeed being a common working space, the Try Guys would have never met in the first place, therefore, not bringing us the content that we know and love. Even though the Try Guys started off by wearing thongs, they grew until they were ready to leave BuzzFeed to start their own company.
